Volume Control Damper - GI

DESCRIPTION:

• Designed for use in heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems.
• Joints are welded and protected with aluminium spray coating to prevent rusting.
• Blades are coupled using toothed nylon gears for opposed blade operation.
• A hand-locking quadrant is provided with clear open and close indications, along with three intermediate positions: 1/4, 1/2 and 3/4 open.
• An optional foam gasket is sealed across the blade edges to minimise air leakage between the blades.
• Flanged corners are supplied with pre-drilled holes as standard for fixing to the duct.
• Dampers without flanges are available as an option for duct insertion.
• Single-skinned 3V groove blades are provided as standard.
• Frame size: 150 mm depth with a standard flange height of 32 mm.
• Drive shaft: Electro-plated square rod measuring 12 mm × 12 mm.
• Bushings: Self-lubricating nylon bushings, with brass bushes available as an option.
