Volume Control Damper – Aluminium

DESCRIPTION:

• The frame and blades are made of high-quality extruded aluminium profiles, providing corrosion resistance and rigidity.
• Double-skinned aerofoil blades are provided as standard.
• The blades are coupled using toothed nylon gears for opposed blade operation.
• The gear operating system is positioned outside the air stream.
• A hand-locking quadrant is provided with clear open and close indications, along with three intermediate positions: 1/4, 1/2 and 3/4 open.
• A motorised actuator of any make can be provided as an optional feature.
• A gasket can be fitted between the blades for low-leakage applications.
• Natural mill finish is provided as standard. Powder coating or anodising can be supplied as required.
• Frame size: 125 mm depth with a standard flange height of 40 mm.
• Drive shaft: Electro-plated square rod measuring 12 mm × 12 mm.
• Bushings: Self-lubricating nylon bushings.
