Fire Damper Curtain Type (UL)

DESCRIPTION:

• The interlocking type roll formed blades are designed with hat shaped reinforcement ridges ensuring strength and stability.
• The ramp is firmly secured to the frame by SS rivets.
• The frame is designed to keep blades out of airstream to prevent rust and contamination.
• All corners of the frame are fully welded (and painted to prevent rust) to ensure sturdy construction.
• AFD-3 model fire dampers are UL 555 classified and manufactured under Air Master’s strict quality control procedures.
• AFD-3 series fire dampers are UL555 classified for 3 hours static application only.
• Fusible Link 165 °F as standard. Option of 212 °F up to 27” x 41” for vertical installation only)
• Micro switch can be provided to know the status of damper’s blade open/close position.
• Maximum Approved Size:
  • Single section: 42” x 42” – 3.0 Hours (vertical installation)
  • Single section: 36” x 36” – 1.5 Hours (horizontal installation)
  • Multiple section: 84” x 84” – 3.0 Hours (vertical installation)
  • Multiple section: 94” x 94” – 1.5 Hours (vertical installation).
