SPECIFICATION:

Constant Air Volume Damper for circular duct mounting are designed to facilitate balancing of ventilation systems that maintain constant air volume at varying pressures, caused by connection and disconnection of system parts, clogging of filters and ducts, wind effects, window opening etc.

DESCRIPTION:

  • The Constant Air Volume Damper is an automatic damper independent of external energy sources. The damper is operated by an opposed opening force from a spring on the blade.
  • The CAV is a manual device for setting of one flow through knob with flow indication.
  • The adjustment knob has a graduated rate scale that allows quick and easy adjustment of the desired air flow.
  • Each nominal size damper allows a selection of flow with a ratio of Vmax: Vmin 3:1
  • Thermal and acoustic insulation are available as options.
  • The CAV Damper is made of high quality galvanized steel.
